Description of Alfalfa

Blustery day in Baltimore County, Maryland. There’s something about riding down a road and seeing bales of straw/alfa spread out across a field. I like to paint my landscapes in an impressionistic style with a pallet knife and brush.  I prefer to paint hay and alfa bales without the plastic wrapping that now goes around them. The greens and the blues act as a backdrop for the straw color, hence, giving the painting punch.

The floater frame was custom made by me and is ready to hung.
