17"x17" oil on canvas, framed

Description of Contrarious

Some times I don’t have anything in mind when I create art. With this particular painting, I just starting painting. When the painting was done to my liking, I sat there with my imagination to figure out what it said to me. It didn’t say anything. Then I got to thinking about how I felt when I was painting the red tongue. I realized that I was feeling rebellious and somewhat contrarious… my way of sticking my tongue out at something. I can’t remember what was bothering me at the time but when I’m painting, all kind of thoughts run through my mind – crazy stuff!

17″x17″ oil on canvas original, floater frame included… ready to hang.
