Description of Disparity

The focal points of this acrylic painting are the two red and blue insect-like objects. It is no accident that the little guy is on top. The two black lines that form an “X” in the middle of  the painting separate the two objects and gives the painting balance and contrast. The primary colors, red and blue sitting on a white background, make for easy viewing. The golden brown and red colors help bring warmness to the somewhat cool painting. I like to engage the imagination by not painting recognizable images.

17″x17″ original acrylic by me and ready to hang. Floater frame included.
